Exterior and interior
This 2024 Onix edition is reminiscent of a Chevrolet Cruze from the outside. The luxury concept is further enhanced by the thin chrome line in the side windows. However, this only applies to the top-end model. There is a lot more to see inside. The car’s cabin was upgraded by the company, giving the driver additional infotainment features. However, the wheel remains the same at 16 inches.
The Onix dashboard is larger than the previous model. The company also included some new features in the 2024 Onix. These include a multimedia center with Apple car play and Android auto, 4G internet to keep the driver entertained, a center mirror with Onstar, Knobs with physical buttons, and reversing camera.

The turbocharged 1.0L three-cylinder engine delivers 123 horsepower and 133 pound-feet of torque in both the 2024 Onix Redline as well as Onix LT. The Onix LT Enjoy edition features a 1.3L engine that produces 106 horsepower and 96-pound feet of torque.
According to the Company, this new powertrain combination gives the Chevrolet Onix LT Enjoy Edition a remarkable combined fuel range of just 4.8 liters/100 km and an equivalent of 49 miles per gallon. The Onix LT Enjoy Edition, which is the entry-level, becomes the most fuel-efficient vehicle in the subcompact segment of China’s car market and the best in the world.
2024 Chevrolet Onix Release Date and Price
The new 2024 Chevrolet Onix is currently only available in China. There are no details from the company regarding the possibility that the Onix might be made available in Europe or North America.
The 2024 Onix was sold in three trims in the Chinese market. Onix Enjoy Edition is priced at 79,900 CNY (about $12,250 USD at today’s exchange rate), Onix LTE: is 89.900 CNY ($12.650 USD), Onix Redline: is 96.900 CNY ($13.650 USD), and Onix Redline: 96.900 CNY ($13.650 USD).
