2024 Chevy Silverado Interior, Price, Colors – Chevrolet will be the leading brand in electric pickup trucks when the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV is available at dealers. Like its GMC Hummer EV pickup, the Silverado EV uses an Ultium battery pack.

Exterior and interior
Silverado Evo stimulates the Chevrolet Avalanche pickups from the 2000s and 2010. Similar but more functional support extends from the Cabin to the top of the bedside. Chevrolet can add lighting elements extending across the face of the Silverado EV, from headlights to headlights. There is no traditional grille.
The bed measures just under 6 feet, with the rear tub and middle door closed. It extends to almost 9 feet when the center door is open and nearly 11 feet when the main entranceway and rear bathtub are open. Chevrolet stated that the tonneau cover offered by Chevrolet will still allow the midgate to be opened, protecting longer loads from direct outside exposure. The midgate glass can also be removed and stored behind a 40/60 folding back seat. However, you will need to fold both sides down in order to keep it. You can also buy truck tubs as configurable multiposition units.
Silverado EV RST First Edition will feature a 17-inch touchscreen and an 11-inch configurable digital panel. GM’s Ultifi OS will power the touchscreen. WT receives an 11-inch touchscreen as well as an 8-inch digital gauge cluster. Chevy claims the Cabin should feel more spacious than the Silverado 1500 gasoline because of the glass roof.
GM stated that the Silverado EV has respectable seating for people over 6′ tall in the rear seats. The Silverado EV features animation on a main touchscreen infotainment screen of 17 inches, an 11-inch driver screen, and a head-up display that replaces the traditional range. GM’s Ultifi platform powers Silverado EV. This allows for software updates and the possibility of software-based function enhancements.
Midgate Multi-Flex extended the bed’s length from 5 to 11 feet to over 9 feet when it opened. The Multi-Flex Tailgate raises the load flooring to 10 feet, 10 inches. Both come in the RST First Edition and a tonneau covering with a weatherproof and lockable storage compartment. The Silverado Electric Vehicle will come in two versions: the RST First Edition total and the WT fleet-oriented version. The RST First Edition will include features such as a four-wheel drive and adaptive air suspension. WT will not use a midgate.
2024 Chevy Silverado Engine
Silverado EVs can pull up to 10,000 lbs and have a payload of around 1,300 lbs. The same structural sandwich technique was used to build the Silverado EV as the GMC Hummer EV. It features an independent front and rear suspension, plus adaptive air suspension, allowing for a 2-inch increase or decrease in flight height. The Silverado Electric Vehicle’s Watts Wide Open mode allows for up to 664 horsepower and more than 780 lb. ft of torque. It is powered by a 2-motor system that can move the truck from 0-60 MPH in less than 4.5 seconds.
The electric Silverado will be able to charge up to 350 kw at 800 Volts, which will allow it to reach 100 miles in less than 10 minutes. Double electric motor and lithium battery pack; approximately 510 horsepower and 615 pound-feet torque (Work Truck), or 664 hp (RST Introduce Edition).
Using the 200 kWh battery to drive an EV long distances is possible, but it takes a lot of time to charge. GM’s Ultium platform uses a 400V electric architecture. However, engineers quickly discovered an intelligent way to charge batteries. Each layer of the battery pack is treated as a separate battery to capture with a charger that can be 800V and 350-kW. Each layer is charged at 400V and 175kW in parallel. This allows you to include a range of approximately 100 miles in ten minutes.
The onboard power liftoff was one of Ford’s many features in the Silverado. There are 10 outlets available on eTrunk, cabins, and beds with a 10.2 kW capacity. This is slightly more than Lightning’s 9.6 kW. Chevrolet has a 240V NEMA-14/ 50 outlet at 120v and a range of house outlets. The Silverado can charge other EVs using its device charging cables.
Chevrolet claims that the RST First Edition should have a payload and towing capacity of 1300 and 10,000 pounds, respectively. What the RST First Edition will do if it exceeds its truck range is still being determined.
Silverado’s EV Work Truck can tow 8,000 pounds and carry 1,200 pounds. Chevrolet stated that it will launch a WT version with a maximum towing weight of 20,000 pounds. Chevrolet claims that the Silverado Electric Vehicle will have 10 outlets. These outlets include 120 and 240 Volts and provide 10.2kW power to power different tools and devices. Other electric vehicles could also be included.
2024 Chevrolet Silverado Release Date and Price
Silverado EV RST First Edition, priced at $105,000, will be available at dealerships starting in fall 2023. While the WT variant will start at $39900, some buyers may need to wait to purchase it. However, Chevrolet is preparing to offer early Silverado Ev WTs to business buyers.
The strategy is to eventually fill the middle of Silverado’s EV lineup with more variations, such as RST or Trail Manager, at prices between $50,000 and $80,000.
