2022 Chevy Blazer RS Price, Horsepower, Redesign – The midsize SUV is one of the most exciting options in its class. Blazer RS is the only version of this SUV. The trim RS$41.995 eliminates the four-cylinder engine powering its peers–a naturally sucking 193-hp 2.5L engine in the L, 1LT, and a turbocharged 2.0-liter 227-hp at the 2LT, 3LT, and Premier–For a 3.6L V-6 engine with 308 hp (an extra $500 for the 2LT, 3LT, and Premier trims).

Exterior and Interior
The AWD Blazers also have model-specific features like specially tuned dampers and faster steering ratios. AWD adds $2,900 to the cost of the SUV but also provides additional fluidity and balance to its lateral dynamics.
The Blazer’s ability to shift power between the left-right rear wheels and the front wheels allows it to penetrate the bends with controlled four-wheel movement. It is a 20-inch Michelin Tour A. It is challenging to control S tires on Chicago’s snow-covered roads.
Switch the Sport drive mode selector to Sport and turn off the stability and traction control. You can feel a little right-pedal-induced oversteer from the accelerator pedal. The understeer flowed through the turn when the AWD was turned off, and the engine power was directed to the front wheels.
The RS Blazer offers a great mix of driving comfort and driving engagement. The RS Blazer is a fun and exciting SUV that’s small enough to be comparable to the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class. It also costs less than the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class. The Blazer’s 7.4-inch ground clearance and highway-oriented tires will limit its ability to travel far.
Chevy has further limited the RS trim’s color options to black with contrast red trim and stitching on leather upholstery and dashboard. The Blazer’s 8.0-inch infotainment screen is tiny compared to the Outback’s 11.6 inches and 12.0 inches. Edge and Edge, respectively. However, touchscreens from chevy respond quickly to touch inputs. They are also easy to use because of their crisp graphics and simple on-screen menus.
2022 Chevy Blazer RS Engine
The Blazer engine and responsive Transmission are capable of carrying the SUV, which weighs in at 4,250 lbs, to incredible speeds. They have a very high power and torque peak. The full-stable 308-horse engine is available at 6,700 rpm. The overall torque output of 270 lb-ft turns on at 5,000. It’s not surprising that the AWD Blazer that we last tested was able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 6.1 seconds and cross a quarter mile in 14.6 seconds at 95.6.
Blazer RS was able to absorb every impact of a large mound of roadwork in the Midwest, thanks to a specially tuned damper. The ride was also improved by 20-inch wheels and tires. We suspect that the 21-inch wheels (which cost $1000) and the low-profile tires could have contributed to this effect.
The 2022 Blazer comes with the 2LT, which is a 2.0T engine, front-wheel drive, and a 9-speed automatic. The 3LT, which is more powerful, offers the V-6 option. Also, the loaded Premier (pictured here in silver) has the V-6 chance. This vehicle looks slightly different due to several exterior trim upgrades. All trim levels can have an all-wheel drive option.
The sporty-looking RS is standard on the V-6. It also offers a two-color option with a black roof (pictured in red). The two-color display option is available with specific LT display packages.
