There are many changes to the powertrain that switches gasoline power for electric power. It looks good. The Equinox EV’s exterior design combines modern elements with traditional crossover design elements. The base front-wheel-drive engine produces 210 horsepower and can travel approximately 250 km on one charge. Equinox EV offers all-wheel drive as an option. This is in contrast to the Bolt EUV. It boosts power to a more cheery 290 horsepower. All-wheel drive can increase the range to 300 miles due to the larger battery pack in higher-level vehicles. Equinox EV will look sleeker and more modern than the current third-generation gasoline-powered Equinox. It will have full-width taillamps and a sportier appearance. Depending on whether the 1LT has FWD or AWD, it will have a 250-mile range with a smaller battery. The 2LT, 3LT, and 3RS trims come with 21-inch aluminum wheels. For a vintage, two-tone look, the 2LT or 2RS can be ordered with a black or white roof.
The Equinox EV’s cargo area is only 57 cubic feet when the back seat is folded down. However, it has an interior space comparable to the gasoline-powered model. Customers will find a digital dashboard similar to the recently released Silverado EV, along with stylistic cues taken from the Bolt EV hatchback or Bolt EUV crossover. There are many options for the 2LT, 3LT, and RS trims, including heated seats and power seats, a sunroof, and dual-zone temperature control. The base versions don’t have power-adjustable seats and are very basic.

This is due to the instant power delivery that electric motors provide. It will likely give the SUV a lively demeanor around town. The Bolt EUV, despite having a single motor that produced 10 horsepower less, still managed a 6.8-second sprint to 60 mph on our track. We will test both front-wheel-drive Equinox models when we get the chance, and we will revise this article accordingly.
It is expected that the Equinox EV models at the entry level will have a 250-mile range. They also have a smaller battery than the rest. All-wheel drive reduces the range to 280 miles for those trims, but all other models get a larger battery that can go up to 300 miles. Each model comes with a DC fast charging port.
